Follow on Google News | ![]() Google Vs Amazon Video will RuleGoogle Vs Amazon, Video will rule regardless how they do battle online or offline. The world of e-commerce, TV and video has changed indefinitely. This time it is set in concrete with mobile devices, tablets and video content in the driving seat.
By: Infogurushop.Com Just this week I heavily debated with a very close friend of mine who worked for ABC and now works for NBC as a Senior Executive Producer [no names mentioned] who is thrilled and still convinced TV and the media news broadcasting industry has a bright and secure future. I just sent her this Silicon Beat article entitled: That's Entertainment: The above article reportedly claims Eric Schmidt: "The chairman of YouTube owner Google reportedly told advertisers this week that Internet video has already displaced television watching." I agree! Video has been in battle against TV for the last decade, but thanks to mobile it now firmly shifts the global 'communication' platform of consumer choice from offline to online. Which is bad news for many TV broadcasters or media broadcasting companies from Rupert Murdoch FOX to BBC as you are now forever on Google territory. This is like watching a classic Cowboy & Indian movie where the last Cowboy now must wave a white flag in surrender and learn how to live with the Indians. This is irreversible! Well, let's blow the bugle! Retreat, surrender or get captured online are your only three global strategic choices. And as for Amazon, if Amazon moves into video, news and broadcasting to take on Google add that to Twitter, Linkedin and Facebook is a recipe for a very fragmented global media news industry. It will be very interesting to see what Rupert Murdoch does now but online we all play by Google or Amazon rules. Can Amazon win against Google? Who knows? All that I do know is 'video' will be the winning formula. And it is not just video online but video multimedia across all platforms in the way, style, quality and delivery consumers want it only. When it comes to e-commerce, trust, global logistics and customer service, Amazon definitely rules over Google! Yet, online Google rules over video, search, social Google + which forces Amazon to have to move into direct video and even social or e-search to topple Google. Video advertising and 3D digital shopping online will eventually become the TVision of the world. Gone are the days of people reading through long articles. If they want news they will watch it club paid or FREE or grab a tweet, text, create or share it socially. Twitter could well surprise Google and Amazon. If Twitter moves deeper into news, video and e-commerce with it's own video storage and delivery platform this could create problems for Google and Amazon. Especially if Rupert Murdoch or Ted Turner forms a Twitter-Pack. Google may well be smiling but the big question is "who" will most broadcasting companies surrender too or partner with online? As for SME businesses of the world, it is time to awake to video and move now before it is too late. Yes you can put your video on YouTube for FREE but quality over quantity is also an option to which the future of how one markets, promotes or advertises online is crucial to CTR's, ROI and conversion. Google will be faced with 'quality' video advertising and marketing competitors who cater more specifically to businesses than the entertainment online world. For instance if you want to sell wholesale or a container load of goods where would you place your video ad or advertisement? SEO Specialist video advertising, marketing and directory ad agency websites are also great business choices as they can MULTIMEDIA your brand, ad or excess stock for sale covering not just YouTube but other leading platforms resulting in a targeted strategic option as in our new Bulk Buy Ads launch http://www.infogurushop.com/ The conclusion is video will rule the world and lay TV as we know it to rest. May TV RIP. End
