Hoovler unanimously endorsed by Police Chiefs’ Association of Orange County

GOSHEN, N.Y. - May 3, 2013 - PRLog -- The Police Chiefs’ Association of Orange County put its full support behind David M. Hoovler’s campaign for Orange County District Attorney.

The Association’s principle purpose is to provide a forum to work in cooperation with other local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, community agencies, groups, or other government departments to promote confidence, understanding, trust, competence and professionalism to achieve police objectives.

The Association’s support joins law enforcement endorsements offered by the Town of Deerpark PBA, NYS Union of Police Associations, and Teamsters Local 445. The NYS Union of Police Associations, Inc., represents thousands of municipal law enforcement officers throughout New York’s cities, counties, towns, and villages. The Teamsters’ membership includes roughly 250 police officers in the Town of Mount Hope, the Village of Greenwood Lake, the Village and Town of Chester, the Village of Goshen, the Village of Harriman, the Village of Walden, the Village of Ellenville, and the City of Newburgh.

Hoovler has also been endorsed by the vast majority of municipal Republican committees.
