Elant Choice, Inc. Board Of Directors Appoints Ursula Degenhardt and Mike Morey as New Trustees

NEWBURGH, N.Y. - June 15, 2015 - PRLog -- (Newburgh, NY) June 15, 2015 – The Board of Directors for Elant Choice, Inc. – a non-profit organization comprised of its Managed Long-Term Care Plan, Certified Home Health Agency, and a Social Day Program – recently welcomed new board members Ursula Degenhardt and Mike Morey to its ranks.

The appointments follow the non-profit’s recent separation from its parent company to focus its efforts on its community-based services, and to further expand its catalog of forward-thinking, community-based services.

Ms. Degenhardt, who was educated in Germany, France, and London before coming to the United States, has worked with companies including New York Life Insurance, the Ford Motor Company, and Sparkasse Leverkusen. Ms. Degenhardt has been Founding Member/President of the Auxiliary of Goshen Historic Track, a member of the Goshen Garden Club, and vestry member of Goshen’s St. James Church. She has also been a member and fundraiser for Goshen Twigs (Arden Hill Hospital).

Her lengthy record of service to the community includes being treasurer of both the Goshen Jaycees and Goshen Restoration Unlimited boards. Ms. Degenhardt is an honorary board member at Orange Regional Medical Center, has served as board member and ethics committee chair at Arden Hill Hospital, and previously served as a board member for Elant, Inc.

Mike Morey is a senior vice president at public affairs firm SKDKnickerbocker (NYC), and has spent more than 15 years in strategic communications, government, and public affairs. He previously served as the Hudson Valley Regional Director and then New York Communications Director for United States Senator Charles E. Schumer.

At SKDKnickerbocker, Morey manages strategic communications and crisis work for clients including Steward Health Care System, the City of New Orleans, the Rockefeller Foundation, Montefiore Medical Center, Health Quest Systems, Silo Ridge Ventures, and worked for clients such as Microsoft, Saratoga Casino and Resort, Genting, the Real Estate Board of New York, and the American Beverage Association. He is a graduate of Purchase College, and obtained his master’s and completed his doctoral coursework at American University. He lives in Westchester.
