Vital Warrior To Attend Breakfast In Honor of Navy Admiral Vernon Clark, CNO

LOS ANGELES - May 2, 2013 - PRLog -- More and more, we are seeing the incredible support of our men and women who have served or are currently serving in the military. I myself can attest to the appreciation for my service from civilians and fellow brothers and sisters. It is a gratitude that I sometimes get a bit uncomfortable with at times, yet having been a part of the military is indeed a bond of brotherhood and sisterhood that cannot be expressed fully in words.

Tomorrow, May 2nd, 2013, Ron Garcia, the Mayor of the City of Brea, California along with The Brea Kiwanis Club and the Brea Ministerial Association honor retired Admiral Vernon Clark, Chief of Naval Operations (CNO). Upon his retirement in 2005, Admiral Clark had served the 2nd longest tenure as CNO.  He served aboard naval destroyers and commanded the Carl Vinson Battle Group/Cruiser Destroyer Group Three, the Second Fleet and the Atlantic Fleet. As CNO, he led the Navy through the initial phases of the Global War on Terrorism. I was again invited by my good friend, (and I think now my publicist) Annie Nelson with the American Soldiers Network (http://americansoldiernetwork.com/), to be a guest at the 2013 Brea Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast (http://resources.razorplanet.com/510062-9939/2013_mpb_fly...), which is in its 32nd year of celebrating our outstanding American citizens like Admiral Clark. I am truly excited to be a part of this event and look forward to meeting the Admiral. I hope to share photos and more stories with you after the breakfast.
