The magazine is looking to publish a collection of scientific articles interspersed with art and photography, as well as, fiction, poetry, essays and more. The idea is a magazine with a variety of content types will have a wider audience and greater reader engagement. The Round Thing will publish material related to aliens and UFO, natural studies, the paranormal, space and time travel, scientific research as well as controversial ideas, theories and explanations. Submissions are accepted through the submission form on the web page, submissions are open to the public and there is no plan for peer review. There are no length restrictions or a limit to figures accepted, however, it is asked that authors and artists submit a brief bio sketch and a description of the submission. There is no deadline for submissions, The Round Thing magazine is in preparation for the inaugural issue and will be accepting submissions into the future. The aim of The Round Thing is to provide information and entertainment in the form of scientific literature and fiction and non-fiction. There is a hope to generate a dialog between information producers and traditional consumers, with a focus on mapping the fringes of the unknown.
