THIS WEEK: The Kilted Chef NC to Host Second Annual Julia Child Week

WILMINGTON, N.C. - April 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Saltwater Grill is open from 11 AM – 10 PM weekdays. The Julia Child Tribute will include her famous recipes, highlight her time in France and relive the excitement of ‘Julie and Julia’. It will be a week for the books and truly a spectacular celebration to honor the magic that was once brought to your homes!

The Kilted Chef NC said ‘My hopes by showcasing Julia Child is that people remember her and her contribution to America by showing a simplistic version of French cooking along with a time honored tradition of setting the table for friends and family. It was a time to come together with each other, a time to give yourself a rich life even if your times were hard.'

About Chef Owens

Chef Owens was born in the land of the Irish. He came to the United States for his second tour over a year ago. He brings to Saltwater his fluency in seven languages, his education in French cuisine and more than 23 different country cuisines. You could say he knows the luck of the Irish being married to another chef who is of Russian descent. Rumor has it he has never prepared the same meal for his wife since the day of their marriage.
