Aamsco® Expands Alinea® Seamless Illumination Line with Energy Efficient LED

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. - April 10, 2013 - PRLog -- SUMMERVILLE, S.C. – AAMSCO Lighting is proud to announce that the Alinea® - America’s first UL listed incandescent architectural lamp fixture, is now available in LED.   The patented Alinea® LED offers a complete linear illumination system in three standard sizes and a choice of color temperatures ranging from 2500K to 3500K for accent lighting in commercial and residential applications.

Consuming only 4 to 11 watts per fixture, Alinea® LED delivers 225 to 700 lumens per watt with a 25,000 hour estimated average life.  The fixture measures a minimal 1.14” in height and comes in three standard lengths: 11.81”, 19.69”, and 39.78”. It can be mounted as a single fixture, or mounted end-to-end for seamless illumination making it an ideal solution for kitchens and bathrooms.

Designed for quick and easy installation, the Alinea® LED luminaire mounts to a standard junction box and the aluminum mounting channel features key-hole slots to expedite wall installation. For end-to-end mounting, pre-fabricated end knockouts eliminate the need for drilling holes, saving extra contractor charges and reducing jagged edges that can result in stripped wires. The Alinea® LED lamp also allows directional aiming with its unique lamp base and features dimming to 0% with most standard incandescent dimmers.

The Alinea® LED directly replaces Alinea Incandescent lamps without any modification by snapping the lamp in the existing fixture channel.  This simple replacement of an incandescent source provides a quick and easy energy savings renovation converting the consumption of a 150w incandescent source with that of a 4 to 11 watt LED.
