BOSTON - April 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Ever wondered if that berry growing on the tree outside on the streets of Boston is actually safe to eat? On April 8th, 2013, Executive Chef Josh Lewin of the Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro (http://www.beaconhillhotel.com) will teach students about the many edible herbs and plants available right here in New England at the Boston Center for Adult Education (http://www.bcae.org) (BCAE). Those who attend Call of the Wild, will learn how to overcome the intimidation of taming wild herbs and plants with the help of Chef Lewin, as they learn how to transform wild vegetation into new recipes that will be sure to impress the likes of any cook.

Executive Chef Josh Lewin joined Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro team in 2010 as a Sous-Chef, since then he has cultivated a strong menu filled with local growers and producers. Lewin joins the BCAE to bolster an eco-conscious movement which brings exploration and adventure to the kitchen. He will share his culinary expertise as students discover, not only how to take full advantage of readily available resources right outside their doorsteps, but how to turn their discoveries into culinary creations.

Students will not want to miss this chance to find out how to create delicious dishes using what’s growing right outside. Registration is necessary and can be made by visiting www.bcae.org.
