-- TechBA is a program created in 2005 by the Mexican Ministry of Economy and is operated by the U.S.-Mexico Foundation for Science - FUMEC to provide specialized consulting for small and medium sized enterprises (SME) in Mexico looking to expand its operations in international markets. TechBA strengthens entrepreneurship, technological innovation for technology-based SMEs and facilitate their internationalization process by providing consulting services tailored to their needs. Their model is aimed at accelerating the development of enterprises, providing access to a network of advisers and senior international experts, which allow the company to rapidly improve its value proposition to ensure their success at international levels and ensure their stay in the long term. "QET Tech Aerospace was chosen over a group of 200 hundred companies because of its potential to become a big company in a short time” says Jose Luis Mendez of TechBA.
QET Tech Aerospace (QTA) is in the process of launching its airframe MRO in Sonora Mexico. The first wide body hangar is expected to be complete in April. "We choose to be part of TechBA program because of the experience they clearly demonstrated and the Montreal group has the most aerospace focused team being located in the third most important aerospace cluster in the world" says Mike Dornenburg, V.P. of Operations. He continues “We are launching this MRO from a blank sheet of paper and intend to use all the resources available to get the very best processes in place to produce an low cost efficient service to our of customers”.
