Swimming Pool Services Wins “Best of Show” Award in APSP Chapter Competition

WAUKESHA, Wis. - March 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Pewaukee, Wis. – Swimming Pool Services Inc., which has helped homeowners create private aquatic paradises for more than four decades, has captured top honors in the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals 2012 “Awards of Excellence” competition.

Swimming Pool Services (http://www.swimmingpoolservices.com/) won a Gold Award and Best of Show in the category “Residential Vinyl Liner 600 Square Feet and Over” for the APSP Midwest Chapter. The honors recognize a project in Nashotah, Wis., that incorporated unique pool design (http://www.swimmingpoolservices.com/new-pool.html) elements and wove in the beauty of surrounding natural features.

Swimming Pool Services (http://www.swimmingpoolservices.com/building-you-the-best.html) has won Gold awards for 10 consecutive years in the APSP chapter competition, which covers more than 100 members in Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa. David Thompson, Chief Executive Officer of Swimming Pool Services, is a past chapter President.

The 2012 awards were well-earned by Swimming Pool Services, which faced the challenge of working several seemingly disparate features into the Nashotah project. The client wanted a large play area for three children, a space deep enough for a diving board, and sufficient length for lap swimming. In addition, they wanted the pool to have a curved, free-form shape that would allow custom landscaping to snug up alongside.
