LA HABRA, Calif. - March 17, 2013 - PRLog -- La Habra, CA, March 18, 2013 /ProjectManager/ -- Project Manager Ltd released a video presentation about the contrasts between Project Planning and To do Lists; they may look the same in one glance, but they are two different factions in reality.

This video was proctored by Project Manager’s director, Jennifer Whitt – Bridges who clearly expounded the fact that PP and creating to do lists are different. The to do list includes tasks which are related or not to the project plan while PP is the initial plan or game frame before the project is made.

Whitt – Bridges clearly said that “If we look at the two, the to-do list versus the project plans, let’s look at the difference. The difference is a to-do list is literally just a list. It’s a list on a piece of paper, in a document, on a software application, it’s a list. What it does is it provide what tasks are to be completed, versus a project plan, which is aliteral, approved document. It’s been approved.” Therefore the to do list is plainly just a list where the possible tasks during a certain period within a project is listed unlike PP which is the foundation of the project itself which has been approved before anything within the project comes into life. Therefore, there should be no reason that these two would confuse peoject teams.

“You can see the difference between the two and how they can relate or they may not relate. The to-do list may not be prioritized. I like to prioritize mine. I like to associate it to which project if I’m working multiple projects. I like to indicate if it’s a personal item. Then I take these tasks and actually associate them with a time slot that I’ve built in on my own personal schedule so I can build those in and actually get them completed, and if they are project-related have them scheduled on my calendar so that they’re done and completed according to the project plan.” Whitt – Bridges said. “We actually recommend that you use both at the same time, because they are different things, as you can see, and they both may or may not be related. We highly recommend you use both at the same time.” She added.
