The Belaire Group Completes Orchard Park of Odessa

ODESSA, Texas - March 12, 2013 - PRLog -- The Belaire Group has successfully completed construction oversight of Orchard Park of Odessa, an assisted living and memory care facility in the Midland/Odessa market. Orchard Park is a 65,000 SF project with 57 units for assisted living and 40 units for memory care.  The $11 million project was funded primarily by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) along with private equity. Located at 8050 Dr. Emmet Headlee St, Orchard Park has already received a Certificate of Occupancy and is now awaiting final inspection from the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Service (TDADS).

“We were very pleased to bring this project to a successful completion as the owner’s representative,” said Marco DePalma, CEO of The Belaire Group, a Dallas-based senior living consulting firm. “Our biggest obstacle was finding manpower in an area where a booming energy sector is drawing heavily on those resources, often putting other building projects at risk. However, as the owner’s rep, mitigating risk is our primary focus.”

The Belaire Group was brought in by the owner and developer, McFarlin Group, in December 2010 and worked through project planning and then construction, to final completion.

Orchard Park at Odessa features three interior landscaped courtyards, private dining amenities, special events venue, fitness and wellness areas, therapy rooms and a spa/salon. Additional services include transportation, wellness programs, weekly linen and housekeeping services and assistance with activities of daily living.  It is conveniently located at the corner of Highway 191 and Faudree Road, and across from the MCH Wellness Center.  

Going forward it will be managed by Meridian Senior Living, with first available occupancy in mid April.
