Midwest Fashion Week Features Indianapolis local Parul Aneja

For the second time, designer Parul Aneja will present a collection of high-end-ready to wear women's dresses, cocktail and evening wear to the Midwest fashion industry.

Retuning from a successful debut at New York Fashion Week, Parul Aneja is excited to showcase in her own territory of Indianapolis, Indiana.

"Last season's Midwest Fashion Week led to the opportunity for me to present during New York Fashion Week at the Emerge! Runway Show and I thank them [MFW] for this platform," Parul Aneja says.

"Her collection captures the beauty of India on American soil. She is a perfect example of a modern Indian in the fashion industry," says Berny Martin, Founder of Midwest Fashion Week.

For the MFW showcase, Parul has added more pieces including lehengas, sarees and three-piece Indian dress suits.

Featured models in Parul's Midwest Fashion Week Fall 2013 presentation will include Miss Southern Illinois Sherrie Gearheart, Miss Illinois US Universal 2012 Alyssa Schwarz and Indiana's popular runway model talent Pam Lake, Manda Michelle, Shyla Skye, Tiffany Alynne Waterman, Rachel Lynn Earl and Shyla Skye.
