Ways to Drive Down High Gas Prices

Feb. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Gas prices are too high and for no apparent reason are they escalating once again. Why is it when the economy begins to show a slight improvement that the folks on Wallstreet and those that jerk our purse strings want to pull the economy back down?  

The age old excuse, of supply and demand, has long since been retired for the reasons for climbing gas prices. No one ever really believed that excuse to begin with and then when we learned that there is more oil resources available than anyone every thought existed did the price of oil go through the roof.

It seems that once again those who control the monopolies of our necessities of life are once again gouging us to the point of economic collapse. Not unlike our government, no one seems to care of offer any real solutions to stopping the greed in this country or the world stage for that matter.

Life expectancy is still only for a short while and yet we have allowed the world to totally disappoint the majority of those of us who pay the most taxes, the middle income families, to make the world go round in despair over the cost of living.

Oh sure, there are electric cars, but what do we do with the upside down debt on our existing vehicles and they have yet to make a decent looking electric car for obvious reasons. Nobody wants to drive an ugly car. Where is the electric pick-up trucks and don’t say we wouldn’t use them.

People in general no longer trust or believe anyone that is in the oil and gas industry. Selling high gas prices and lies seem to go hand in hand. They expect us to believe that there are winter and summer blends of gasoline and yet, our weather and cars don’t seem to know the difference? That seems to be the latest lies they are selling for the reason of higher gas prices.

Well, it’s time to take matters more into our own hands and curtail the excessive use of gas vehicles and think for ourselves. Besides that, why not share a great way to start up a new business platform. Golf carts are in low use for our local transportation and we could make a strong statement virtually overnight with a few eager business entrepreneurs.

Local communities could be making better use of electric golf carts and without having to go out and buy golf carts or new electric cars for that matter. Making economic adjustments that we can afford is a smart move. Consider using street legal golf carts for local community use.
