PRLog -- A Twin Cities area cable TV show,
Focus Forward, will be submitted for a 2013 ACM (Alliance Community Media) Hometown Media Award.
Focus Forward is a talk show hosted by St. Paul entrepreneur Lauri Flaquer. The show features guests from a variety of businesses, cultures and countries. The focus of the show is to offer entrepreneurs tips, tactics and future trends.
Focus Forward will compete in the Informational Talk Show category.
The Hometown Media Awards honors and promotes community media, and local cable programs that are distributed on Public, Educational and Governmental (PEG) access cable television channels.
Focus Forward is sponsored by Saltar Solutions, a local business, and distributed by CTV North Suburbs in Roseville, MN. Awards are presented to creative programs that address community needs, develop diverse community involvement, challenge conventional commercial television formats, and move viewers to experience television in a different way. Industry peers comprised of volunteers and staff from community TV stations judge the awards. In the past, CTV North Suburbs has been the recipient of numerous ACM awards.
The 2013 Hometown Media Awards will be held on May 30, 2013, at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, CA.
