Follow on Google News | ![]() DFW All Stars Hoop'n For Hope - Mission to Uganda #DFWAllStarsRappers, Producers, DJ’s and Fashion Designers from the Dallas Fort Worth area play in a basketball tournament to help local musician raise money for a mission trip to Uganda.
By: Bizybuilder.com Many prominent producers, musicians, performing artists, fashion designers, and DJ’s in the Dallas Fort Worth area will be hitting the court to help Stephanie, a local musician and producer, achieve her goal of raising $2500 for a mission trip to Uganda. A few of the artists who will make up the four (4) Teams include, but are not limited to: J. Rhodes (80’s Baby Entertainment) DJ TEAZE (@DJTeaze) will provide the musical backdrop for this exciting event. Rico Slice (event co-host with P.A.T.), Fly Times Daily, NASAgang, Coffee Music Hub, Bizybuilder.com, Triple D Gear LLC and The BWE Group (YessurrFm and SoMetro Radio will broadcast the event) are just a few of the sponsors and contributors who hope to help make this fundraising event a success. From May 18th through May 27th, 2013, Stephanie and a group of women will be traveling to Uganda to teach students music, increase literacy and be of encouragement to students and families through motivational speaking on overcoming domestic violence. As a survivor of domestic violence who used music to find courage and overcome fear, Stephanie had this to say,” Music feeds the spirit and playing the piano has been a gift from God and my passion for over 15 years. It's very fulfilling for me to be able to share the musical bliss that brightens my world with others”.
