– Alternative Service Concepts (ASC), a full-service, workers’ compensation and property & casualty third party claims administrator, today announced the hiring of Mr. John Burns as National Account Executive for the company’s Florida territory.
Before joining ASC, Mr. Burns served as a regional sales manager for Preferred Medical Network, a pharmacy benefits management company and Allsup, Inc., a Social Security Disability and Medicare services firm. “John’s experience in the Florida workers’ compensation market with developing and executing business plans that generate new business makes him a valuable addition to our team,” stated Glenn Backus, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at ASC, “We know John’s track record of success and his professional approach to developing new business will make a large impact for ASC and our clients in Florida. We are excited to have him with us.”
Mr. Burns will focus on new business development for ASC. He will also maintain relationships with key agents, brokers, and insurance carriers to generate new business. ASC, which has a presence nationally, markets its services locally.
Mr. Burns holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Clemson University and is trained in strategic and conceptual selling through Miller Heiman Sales Institute.
