Known as the “philanthropic publicist”, Vail’s humanitarian efforts are the focus of her public relations profession where she seeks ways to improve the educational, physical or socio-economic lifestyle of those less fortunate. A mandatory company policy is that all her clients must be willing to support community service, through whatever means they can provide. With this core mantra, Vail has guided clients in developing community initiatives and stewardship programs. Her philanthropic endeavors have resulted in significant contributions to Las Vegas not-for-profits and community organizations, totaling over $400,000 in financial contributions, goods, services and man-hours, through art exhibits, fundraising dinners, raffles, auctions, major events and educational programs. Ms. Vail has also used her PR skills to bring much needed awareness to these causes through media interviews and feature stories. Mayor Pro Tem Anthony made the presentation during Vail’s 14th annual food drive benefitting the Las Vegas Salvation Army food bank. The food drive is part of the national USA Weekend Magazine Make A Difference Day in collaboration with The Points of Light Foundation and Newman’s Own Foundation. Vail’s food drive received national recognition in 2012, garnering a $10,000 grant for The Salvation Army. Her works have included awareness, stewardship programs and fundraising deeds for various non-profits including: the March of Dimes, the Salvation Army Angel Tree, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, CCSD Title 1 HOPE, the Andre Agassi Foundation, Street Teens, The American Red Cross- Southern Nevada Chapter, the YMCA, Cannon For Kids, Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, Miracle Flights for Kids, St. Judes Ranch for Children, Child Focus, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, The Maddox Foundation, Candlelighters For Childhood Cancer, The Shade Tree Shelter and others.
