By: Kena Activewear Kena Activewear is a small boutique in Buccaneer’s Walk dedicated to offering performance sportswear to help women get active and stay motivated and fit. Kena specializes in women’s activewear that is both fun and functional. Shop owner Kendra Snow is committed to carrying brands that inspire her with excellent design and quality, and whose missions include environmental and social stewardship. She started Yoga for our Community to promote the benefits of yoga as a part of an active lifestyle. She believes that a balanced active life includes giving to others. This program allows the participants to give to both themselves and others. “I am overwhelmed at the generosity of those who participate in Yoga for our Community,” Kendra said. “Due to the positive response to the program we will be expanding it in January.” The classes are led by Certified Yoga Teacher, Jenny Williams. She teaches an open style of mind and body yoga with a focus on the breath. She enjoys offering meditation and stress reduction in a gentle flowing organic class. All levels of ability and experience are welcome. For more information on participating in the Yoga for the Community Series visit www.kenaonline.com/ End
