Online Women’s Activewear Retailer Opens Retail Location in Kitty Hawk

June 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Kena Activewear opened as an online retailer in the Fall of 2010 with the goal of offering fun, functional clothes and accessories to inspire and support an active lifestyle.  Launching initially with an in house line of Active Alphabet Bamboo Tees (http://www.kenaonline.com/brands/Kena.html), Kena Activewear now offers several activewear brands, including TASC Bamboo Performance Sportswear, Skirt Sports Fitness Skirts, Oiselle Running Apparel for Women, Lucy Activewear, and many more.

“We are excited to offer stylish, comfortable, and sustainable performance sportswear to the local and visiting community and look forward to adding programs and, of course, more awesome active lifestyle clothes and accessories to inspire women to be active as we grow,” said Kena Activewear owner, Kendra Snow.  As an active member of the Outer Banks fitness community she saw value in opening a shop to serve the active local and visiting women who inspire her as she strives to live an active lifestyle and set that example for her 3 young daughters.

The new Kena Activewear Shop is located in Buccaneer's Walk in Kitty Hawk, a unique shopping plaza where, after picking up your new gear from Kena you can enjoy a facial or massage at the Lotus Day Spa, find a special bottle of wine or enjoy a glass in the lounge at the Wine Specialist, get your hair done at the popular Hot Heads Hair Salon, do a little antiquing, shop for unique jewelry and gifts, or maybe indulge with a homemade ice cream treat at Big Bucks Ice Cream or some gourmet peanuts from The Peanut Shop.
