Advent IM's School Security Service wins award

Dec. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Advent IM Ltd today announced their success in the Tomorrow’s FM awards for Products and Services.

Advent IM, the UKs leading independent, holistic security consultancy has revealed that the School Security service, launched earlier this year, has won an award from Tomorrow’s FM magazine.
In Tomorrow’s FM round up of top quality products and services, Advent IM’s one day security health check for schools was found to be innovative and highly focused.  Advent IM Founder and Director, Mike Gillespie said, “We have many years’ experience in the Education sector and never has the security of staff and pupil data been more important. Schools carry so much information from ‘at risk’ data, to fingerprints and much more, securing it properly and sustainably is vital to reassure all key stakeholders. We knew that schools needed support and so offering some guidance in the form of a one day check and a dashboard report seems to have hit the right note with very many of them.”
Wren’s Nest school, which has been through the audit said, “The Consultant gave Wren’s Nest a thorough, detailed information security audit which we found extremely helpful. The report, advice and guidance have provided our organisation with a valuable insight into information security. We will now investigate our current procedures and policies to enable us to move forward and identify further e-safety tools and policies to meet current legislation and reassure all key stakeholders of how seriously we take Information Security”
