Follow on Google News | Prem International School recognized for its commitment to corporate responsibilityPrem Tinsulanonda International School has been recognised by AMCHAM Thailand (the American Chamber of Commerce) for the work that they do in the community and as a community to build sustainability.
The purpose of the ACE Recognition Program is to raise awareness of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) among AMCHAM members and to provide recognition to firms with best practice CSR programs. It also allows AMCHAM to gather information on CSR best practices to share with all AMCHAM member companies. The recognition forms part of AMCHAM’s own commitment to be CSR leaders amongst foreign chambers in Thailand. Lynda Rolph, President of Traidhos Three-Generation Community for Learning of which Prem is part said, "Sustainability and service in the community are at the heart of what it means to be a student at Prem and a member of the Traidhos Community. As an organisation, we try to act responsibly and encourage a positive impact through our activities on the environment, amongst students, employees, wider communities and with the people that we network with. Our desire to be more sustainable and to build capacity for sustainability is rooted in our strategic planning and is an important part of school life. Prem students are involved in community projects throughout the year, staff participate in staff- led activities and management choices are made to support local people in the communities around Prem. We are proud to be recognised for our commitment to developing CSR End
