The iPhone 5 Available On New Lease Scheme From Vodafone

Nov. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Vodafone are one of the biggest network providers in the UK and the company have just released details of a new scheme that enables consumers to rent the latest handsets including the iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note.

This latest deal from Vodafone is called Red Hot and is an interesting new way of consumers getting their hands on the latest smartphones.  The deal will cost consumers £47 with no up front fees and for that money unlimited calls, texts and 2GB of data is included.  The Red Hot plan is a 12 month term and once this period of time has expired users can continue with the handset they are using or upgrade to the latest model.  "We’ve been working incredibly hard to simplify the price plans we offer to customers. Vodafone Red Hot marks another way for customers to stay one step ahead of their friends, having the latest technology in their hands" says Srini Gopalan, Consumer Director of Vodafone UK.  This latest package means that consumers can get their hands on devices like the iPhone 5 easier than ever before.

The Red Hot plan includes insurance which makes the £47 per month an even more attractive proposition.  At the end of the 12 month period the handset is returned to Vodafone to be assessed.  Consumers should be aware that damaged handsets will incur a penalty starting from £75 so a protective case is a worthwhile investment.  At the moment Vodafone are only offering this package in store but it is likely that online customers will have access very soon.  The three models which will be available are the iPhone 5, the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Note 2 and the short 12 month contract means that consumers can pretty much change their device every time a replacement model is launched which generally happens once a year.
