Dubai hosts project cargo management training
An international training course for project forwarders that focuses on fast tracking key skills and experience will be held in Dubai for the first time from December 3-4, 2012.
The ISO accredited Certificate of Achievement in Project Cargo Management training course is a non-technical course that has been specifically designed to fast track integrated logistics management skills and better position companies to overcome the critical skills shortage in the industry.
Case studies and exercises foster applied learning that has produced excellent feedback from previous attendees.
Course trainers are Kevin Stephens, the founder and general manager of international 3PL network the Project Professionals Group, and Rodger Hall who has extensive experience teaching project communication skills.
Mr Stephens said Middle East project forwarders seeking to maximise growth opportunities, particularly in the transportation of super-sized cargos, would not have a better opportunity to invest in practical training that was designed to refresh how employees think about project forwarding, and assist those not so experienced to be work-ready to tackle increased responsibilities.
The course is open to all project forwarders, over dimensional tender managers and industry partners such as port authorities and shippers.
Investment in the two-day training is US$1,800 per person; US$1,650 for 2 – 3 persons; US$1,500 for 4 or more persons.
