By: Project Professionals Group The Certificate of Achievement in Project Cargo Management focuses on developing the skills of rising stars within the industry to provide them with the knowledge to confidently tackle increasingly complex over-dimensional and heavy-lift transportations. Course presenter and general manager of international network Project Professionals Group, Kevin Stephens, said supporting professional training was critical to the future success of any project forwarding business and significantly reduced the risk of failure. “This training has been designed to meet the needs of junior to mid-level multi-model project forwarders and provides them with the guidance that is needed to thoroughly understand what the client’s expectations are and to ensure these are met,” Mr Stephens said. “The course includes insights into the tricks of the trade that are quite often the secrets to success in the project cargo business.” The training also includes business communication training to improve effective writing for business, particularly tender responses. The ISO accredited course is open to all project forwarders and industry partners such as port authorities and shippers. Investment in the two-day training is US$1800 per person; US$1650 for 2 – 3 persons; US$1500 for four or more persons, and includes a one-day Breakbulk Europe exhibition hall pass.
