By: Selah Haki Main Street Rag Publishing Company has been publishing their print magazine: Main Street Rag, uninterrupted since 1996. Among its features are poetry, short fiction, photography and graphic images, essays, interviews, reviews, cartoons and commentary. The magazine is financed through subscriptions, direct sales and shelf sales, and receive no money in the form of grants or public funds. According to their website (http://mainstreetrag.com/ Kobina Wright, creator and contributor of the blog, The Wrighter, is a Southern California native with a BA in Communications from California State University, Fullerton. She has written several books including “Raise the Red Teddy: A Single Mother’s Guide to Dating;” “The Hodaoa-Anibo Dictionary;” “50” and “A Crime And A Simplification of Something Sublime.” Starting next month, Wright will exhibit her installation inspired by the Hodaoa-Anibo language and Tibetan Prayer Flags, through the traveling group show titled Circus Terminal, Thailand, which exhibits November 28th through December 30th in the city of Chiang Mai.
