The Cost of Illegal Immigrants

Most immigrants come over to the states with large families and they are willing to work for low wages and then they don’t pay their taxes. What happens is that employers want to hire them because they’ll work for mere pennies and that means fewer jobs available for Americans who so desperately need work. Over one million illegal immigrants cross over the border each year taking jobs that should be for American citizens. Did you know that these illegal aliens are costing American taxpayers an estimated $113 billion a year? It doesn’t stop there; according to Sidney Lumpkin your tax dollars are going for illegal school-age immigrants who qualify for free or discounted state tuition. What happens now is that there aren’t enough funds for aid for US citizens. What you have is a vicious cycle that never ends and continues to cost US taxpayers their hard earned dollars. American economy is tough enough, now add the millions of dollars it cost taxpayers and it doesn’t get any better. The illegal immigrants are replacing jobs that should be for those Americans who need them. Not only are illegal aliens taking American jobs, those who are incarcerated are costing taxpayers as well. The rising costs of healthcare, social welfare and public safety can be targeted towards the illegal aliens who keep crossing the borders everyday. According to Sidney Lumpkin the problem isn’t going away and the illegal immigrants continue to cross the border taking much needed jobs and costing American taxpayers more than their fair share of hard earned dollars.  In a nutshell Americans are supporting illegal aliens and taking responsibility for those who should have never entered this country to begin with. Did you know that your tax dollars are funding Medicaid which covers over 3 million illegal immigrants each year? That leaves very little for American citizens who really need the help. There are many people chasing the American dream (whatever that is anymore). For those who choose to enter this country legally it might not be an easy road, but at least they are doing it the right way. As far as others go, if they choose to enter this country illegally they are taking a huge risk that could possibly mean death. The bigger picture is that once they enter this country illegally, they are costing the American taxpayers millions of dollars.
