Entrepreneur Creates Mini Movie to Celebrate “Endeavour” Space Shuttle

James Thomas Sr. is the Author of 2 books, Owner of The Red Letter Agency PR Firm and a Motivational Teacher who may have to ad the title “filmmaker” to his resume after making a “short film” about the space shuttle “Endeavours” travels through the streets of Los Angeles.

“This was a historic moment for Los Angeles and my goal was to take some pictures and hopefully have them come out well enough that I could frame them” said Mr. Thomas.  “I am a horrible photographer but when I saw how good my pictures looked I decided to put together something that would be patriotic and emotional.”

As he was viewing the photos on his computer he said he heard the perfect song in his head to accompany the photos, Ray Charles version of “America the Beautiful”.  “This was the perfect song for a moment that brought people of all races together to participate in something that had nothing to do with race or politics, it was about showing pride in America’s accomplishments.  It reminded me of when the Olympics were in L.A. in 1984” he said.

The goal of the video entitled “Endeavour Comes To Inglewood California” is to hopefully instill some pride in people at a time when our country is at a crossroads in the race for the White House.  “So many people are making this election about Black vs White, Rich vs Poor when it should be about one thing, ALL PEOPLE of the United States.  Somewhere that message has been lost” says Mr. Thomas.

His goal is to share the video with one million people.  It has received an excellent response from FB (where Mr. Thomas has more than 5,000 friends) and YouTube.
