Nurses 2 Roc Pub Fuses Seasoned Professionals And Student Nurses at Cerritos Library

CERRITOS, Calif. - Oct. 10, 2016 - PRLog -- The future of nursing is still blazing, and Nurse Mona of Nurses 2 Rock Pub is on a mission to continue selling this lucrative profession to future nursing students and seasoned professionals.

Come join Nurses 2 Rock Pub for "How to Start and Build A Successful Nursing Career" at 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., on November 1, 2016, at the Cerritos Library for an evening of networking and lectures with some of the best nurses in the business.

In 2013, Mona Clayton, RN, had a major setback in her career and her mission to continue her campaign to recruit single mothers into the profession. Most significant was Mona's revelation— the importance of superior nursing care.

This setback was a result of her mother's sudden diagnosis and passing from "peritoneal carcinomatosis," a rare form of cancer."Because of my mom's hospitalization, I became the patient and experienced first-hand the need for excellence in nursing care and more importantly the significance of continuing to help build future nurses not only in the USA but around the world," Clayton said.

Now, almost three years later to the date of Mona's set-back, new adventures have surfaced with the kicking off of "How to Start and Build A Successful Nursing Career," seminar which will be held at the beautiful Cerritos Library, 18025 Bloomfield Ave., Cerritos, Ca. on November 1, 2016 from 6-9 p.m., renaming of the "Nurses Roc 2" brand to "Nurses 2 Rock Pub," obtaining a Masters in Education, and mentoring nurses in Ghana, Kenya, and Jamaica.

"This seminar will be unique in presentation," Clayton said. "I believe that diversity is the key to equipping seasoned professionals and new graduates with the tools to start or build upon the nursing profession."

The seminar will consist of a compelling panel of seasoned nurses from various genres of the profession and will include a discussion on, "Bridging the Gap Between the New Graduate and the Seasoned Nurse?", "How to Break into the Nursing Profession," "Tips on How to Pass Nursing Examinations," and many more hot topics. This event will end with a mixer and your personal journal to help you along in your nursing journey.
