 | Junior League of Raleigh to hold Judicial Panel and ReceptionSeventeen judicial candidates to participate in event; WRAL’s Elizabeth Gardner to moderate The event, which is free and open to the public, will include an opportunity for attendees to meet candidates, hear opinions during the panel discussion and participate in break-out groups. WRAL-TV’s Elizabeth Gardner, a meteorologist and Sustaining member of the Junior League of Raleigh, will moderate the panel. Organized by the League’s Government Relations and Public Affairs (GRAPA) team, the event is designed to engage more people in the political process as well as educate League’s members about policy issues that are important to the League. "The Junior League of Raleigh regularly offers meaningful programs, events and trainings, such as the Judicial Panel, to help create and shape leaders for our community,” said Pat Wilkins, President of the Junior League. "The League is dedicated to training volunteers who not only provide a strong boost to our local nonprofits but who also engage in our community as educated citizens."
