Be Amazing Drive & Fundraiser Hosted by Dr. Jodi L. Rice D.C. Raised More than a Thousand Dollars

Oct. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Orlando, FL – The office of Dr. Jodi L. Rice hosted the Be Amazing Drive & Fundraiser on Saturday, September 8, that successfully raised more than a thousand dollars and took 15 volunteer’s DNA swabs to be sent to the national registry which have potential to save the lives of 15 leukemia and lymphoma victims.  
“I am so grateful to everyone that came out and supported this truly ‘amazing’ cause,” Dr. Jodi L. Rice, D.C. said.  “The event created the opportunity for the Be The Match Foundation to possibly save 15 lives which is a truly amazing thing and I am honored to be a part of it.”
The Orlando-based auto justice and personal injury attorney Michael T. Gibson, P.A. made a very generous donation to the foundation. The attorneys and staff at the firm are longtime friends of Dr. Rice. Many other local businesses also made contributions to the foundation, which resulted in approximately $1,500 in donations. The organization was also featured on Good Morning America on August 23, 2012 as a young man from Yale gave the gift of life to an anonymous patient through his donation.

During the event, attendees had the option to participate in a $10 raffle that had prizes including: $1200.00 in chiropractic services, $200.00 in massage, $100.00 in beauty salon gift card from Cynthia Blanzenski of Split Endz, and a painting worth approximately $750.00- 1,000 by local artist Cameron Moore.
Debiann McIntosh and her sister Kaiden devote their lives to helping families find the cure for blood cancer after the loss of their mother last year. Regardless of having jobs and families these two determined women find the time to travel all over Florida and Georgia to help save the lives of strangers.
