Comedian/Actor Ray Grady Launches “Comics Give Back” Charity

Popular Comedian develops new charity to support several organizations

Oct. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, California – Comedian/Actor, Ray Grady has officially launched his new charity, Comics Give Back. Being an influential public figure, the Comedian wanted to give back to his community and those in need. He will be calling upon fellow Comedians and Actors to join him on this mission.

Instead of focusing on one cause, Comics Give Back will focus on a different charity every month, from literacy programs to helping raise money for organizations that focuses on diseases and more. Ray Grady has major plans to be more involved and active in social causes. Due to the alarming number of people affected and lives lost from lung cancer, Comics Give Back chose the “Fight For Air Walk” to be the first event that they’re involved in on October 21, 2012 in Santa Monica, CA.

“We have friends and family who have health issues or are affected in so many other ways, so I felt it was important to start an organization that allows comics and anyone who wants to be involved, to give back to the community, whether it’s volunteering their time or money. Participating in events such as the “Fight For Air Walk,” puts things in perspective for all of us. We plan to have at least one charitable event/gathering per month. This is a great way to kick it off,” said Ray Grady.
