Boston's Own Cougar Bait Announces Line-up for CougarPalooza 2

Sept. 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Cougar Bait, the Boston based rock band, has just announced the line-up for CougarPalooza 2 to be held at Tammany Hall in Worcester on October 13th. The show brings together three of the northeast's biggest bands for the event's second incarnation. New York's funk fusion band ShwizZ will kick off the night, followed by veteran festival hoppers and road-warriors The Hornitz, who combine jazz funk and rock and who heavily feature horns. Lastly, the electronic, dance-rock band Cougar Bait will close the night at the Worcester hot spot. The night will also include the return of the Hottest Cougar Contest.Women 35+ can compete for prizes and to be crowned Miss CougarPalooza.

History
Since its birth in 2009, the Boston based Rocktronica band Cougar Bait has
been making its mark on the New England scene. Dubbed "Massachusetts's
most notorious new band" by Pulse Magazine, Cougar Bait has built a
reputation on their high energy live performances. In 2012, Cougar Bait led all
other artists by being nominated for five Worcester Music Awards, including
Best CD and Best Up and Coming Artist. In June, the band captured the 2012
Worcester “More than Just a Battle” of the bands at Tammany Hall. Their latest
single “Lovecraft” debuted at #1 on Indie Rock Radio NEGB1, has received airplay on WAAF and WBCN, and their video was chosen by the Boston Band Crush as Video of the Week. Earlier this summer, the band was spotted by Snagle guitars founder and Thai metal legend Donpheebin KidKaewtid, who inked the band to an endorsement deal.
Cougar Bait’s Lovecraft Tour has the band headlining clubs from Portland to Providence and all points in between.
