Cougar Bait to Make Record Store Day Appearance at Newbury Comics

LEOMINSTER, Mass. - March 25, 2015 - PRLog -- 2014's "Best Electronic Act" Cougar Bait will perform live at Newbury Comics in Leominster MA as part of an international "Record Store Day" celebration on Saturday April 18th from 5-7PM. The band, whose debut album Through The Other Side hit #23 on the iTunes electronic music charts, will also be on hand to sign merchandise, meet and greet fans, or take photos, and will be selling autographed CDs for just $5.

Founded in 2007, Record Store Day is an internationally celebrated day observed the third Saturday of April each year. Its purpose is to celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store. The day brings together fans, artists, and thousands of independent record stores across the world, with hundreds of recording and other artists participating in the day by making special appearances, performances, meet and greets with their fans, the holding of art exhibits, and the issuing of special vinyl and CD releases along with other promotional products to mark the occasion. Newbury Comics will mark the occasion with deep discounts on music and movies, as well as vinyl exclusives at each of their locations.
