Cougar Bait Wins Best Live Act Award at 2016 Worcester Music Awards

WORCESTER, Mass. - April 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Massachusetts Electro-pop band Cougar Bait was named 2016's "Best Live Act" at the Worcester Music Awards. The annual awards show, held at Jillian's in Worcester, spotlights New England's most talented musicians, and presents awards in 27 categories including: "Best Female" and "Best Male Vocalist", "Best Pop", "Best Electronic", "Best Hard Rock" and even "Sexiest Musician". The event was presented by Pulse Magazine and sponsored by Budweiser, Union Music, E.L. Music, and Immedia Event Productions. Cougar Bait, which was nominated for four awards including: "Best Pop", "Best Electronic Act", "Sexiest Musician", walked away with the night's last and best prize: "Best Live Act of 2016"

History:
Since its birth in 2009, Cougar Bait has established themselves as one of Boston's premier electronic bands. With the release of 2015's "Through the Other Side" the threesome has been gaining active airtime on FM radio, playing sold out shows throughout the northeast, as well as earning the title "2014 and 2015 Best Electronic Act" by Pulse Magazine. The band's unique style of blending multiple genres such as house, electronica, hip hop, pop, and rock through the use of live instrumentation has become an in-demand dance floor powerhouse that audiences love. Cougar Bait has been taking the scene by storm, playing iconic venues, landing premier festival slots , and sharing the stage with today's hottest acts.
