BKD to Present at IMA Conference

Sept. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- SPRINGFIELD, MO – BKD Forensics & Valuation Services, a division of BKD, LLP, is pleased to announce that Jeff Roberts will be presenting at the 12th Annual Heartland Regional Council of the IMA Educational Conference.  His presentation, "Schemes, Scams and Swindlers:  Insight into Organizational Fraud" will focus on the warning signs of fraud, including providing “real world” examples of fraud schemes and unique strategies to combat the risk of fraud

Roberts works with a wide variety of clients and organizations providing fraud prevention, fraud investigation, fraud risk assessments and assurance services.  He has investigated allegations of improprieties in a variety of companies and organizations, including privately held companies, financial institutions, cooperatives, governmental entities and not-for-profit organizations.  

Jeff is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF).  He provides continuing professional education on fraud topics and speaks to colleges, industry groups and professional associations about fraud and fraud prevention.

The presentation will take place on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 3-4:00 p.m. at the University Plaza Hotel, Springfield, MO.
