Team Development, Price Fluctuations Top Manufacturer Concerns,

Sept. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Training and development, inefficiencies, and fluctuations in materials cost and availability were cited as top manufacturer challenges in a recent poll by Houston CPA and consulting firm TR Moore & Company, a Doeren Mayhew firm.  

Respondents rated the following challenges as most important/concerning:

•   Training and development of skilled labor (87%)
•   Developing a strong management team (87%)
•   Fluctuations in price or availability of raw materials (81%)
•   Maintaining a productive and engaged workforce (80%)
•   Production inefficiencies (60%)
•   Cash flow (53%)
•   Availability of labor, increases in labor costs (53%)
