| Autism support specialists win top employer awardHesley Group, a leading autism support specialist, has been recognised as the Yorkshire and North East Regional Employer of the Year at the Skills Training Academy's STAR Awards 2012.

Hesley Group recently received a glowing Ofsted report for Fullerton House School, one of two autism education facilities run by the company. Ofsted said the quality of education, teaching, curriculum and development were "outstanding" "The recent Ofsted report is evidence of how our staff development is paying dividends for the people we provide autism support to," the spokesperson said. "We are very proud of our achievements, including Fullerton House School's Ofsted report and our award-winning apprenticeship scheme." Hesley Group's scheme offers 120 Advanced Apprenticeships (Level 3 Health and Social Care), 12 Level 2 Apprenticeships and three Advanced Business Admin Apprenticeships. This prompted provider General Physics UK Ltd to put Hesley Group forward for the awards. The presentation was made at a dinner in Bolton with more than 200 attendees from the North of England.
