Aug. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Most Americans have noticed the rising costs of living –especially over the past year. A trip to the grocery store and you can see how much the prices of food have sky rocketed. Most folks are living from pay check to pay check and the rising costs of food and furl have made juggling finances a challenge. Lately the price of fuel ahs gone down giving people a much needed break, but prices on most everything else continue to be on the rise. The cost of living also affects the high cost of health insurance which most people cannot afford. It would be nice to say that the American economy has improved, but reality tells another story-economy is still on the slump and many families are still suffering from the aftermath. Rubi Carter talks about the growing concerns Americans have on rising prices. Most people can agree that prices need to go down. Some folks are still out of work and looking for jobs. While there are government programs available to lend a helping hand. The problem with these government programs is that many have been cut and the help that was once available no longer exists. This has not been good news for many folks still trying to pick up the pieces of the past four years. According to Rubi Carter politicians are talking like the high prices will come down, but the truth is that no one knows for sure. Most can agree that it’s time for a break when it comes to the high cost of living. You can only cut so many corners and if the money isn’t there, there money isn’t there. Cutting back on government programs isn’t helping. You can read more by logging on to: http://www.oneamericansays.com/expensive/ .

In the mean time you can try and follow a budget as closely as possible. You can cut back by trying to cut down on some of your bills. Instead of cable TV, try watching shows in the internet. Growing your own fresh vegetables and fruit can save you tons of money at the grocery store. When it comes to cutting back you need to think outside the box and get creative adds Rubi Carter. Even a simple vegetable garden can help you save money on the grocery bill. If you live in an apartment there are still ways you can grow a small garden.
