In addition, several other moving companies reported a higher percentage of customers in the age range of 65 and above moving out of Florida.

The data shows that these customers typically relocate to other warm-weather cities that have lower costs of living for this age group, including Phoenix and Charlotte. The companies are also seeing a higher rate of this age group moving from more expensive communities along the Florida coasts to more economical locations in-land within Florida.
