July 25, 2012 - PRLog -- During the World Partner Conference Microsoft previewed what was described the "UI refresh" for Microsoft Dynamics CRM which is expected to be included in the Q4 2012 service update pack.

The noticeable changes to the updated UI are not functionally significant but do feature changes to the layout, colours and fonts to give more of a simplified, Metro Application feel which is fluid and process orientated, ensuring maximum insight for users.

Microsoft explained that as part of the cross-browser re-engineering process they took the opportunity to streamline the Web browser user interface to remove clutter and reduce pop-ups. Some of the neat tweaks that we liked include:

-Better use of icons and visual elements (slick looking sales process)
-Integration with Skype and/or Lync
-Improved integration with activity feeds
-Less use of the Ribbon when a record form is open

It is this minimalist, process driven look and feel which will soon become visible across all new Microsoft Products including Microsoft Office and Outlook 15.
