Soul/Jazz singer JUANITA Supports Suicide Prevention with song Better Dayz

July 17, 2012 - PRLog -- [Fort Lauderdale, FL] -- With a highly-anticipated release earlier this year, soulstress JUANITA  showcases her own blend of Sophisticated S-O-U-L, with a new single and dance remix for ”I Already Love U”. However, her previously released song, Better Dayz, is now being featured in a suicide prevention campaign.

In addition to performing within the US and abroad, JUANITA has appeared in music showcases, fashion shows, events, magazines, and was a finalist in the Miss Black World NY State Modeling & Beauty Pageant. With a very diverse background, she is also the former co-founder of G&J Consulting Services and holds dual degrees in Human Services: Mental Health and Marketing.

JUANITA is not only a talented artist, but a respected humanitarian, as well.  She has been actively involved in mental health and wellness movements and has partnered with several charitable organizations. As a motivational speaker and advocate, she has been instrumental in the fight against stigma associated with mental illness and suicide.  JUANITA has participated in outreach events to raise money for education, research, and new programs for suicide prevention.

Currently, she is involved with The Artist Collaborative ("TAC"), a joint project with other artists to increase awareness about suicide prevention, raise funds for educational programs, and STOPsuicide.

The mission of The Artist Collaborative is to combine skills, talents, and expertise and utilize them to SAVE LIVES. TAC's vision is to create chapters in major cities within the United States with a primary objective to support non-profit organizations that spearhead suicide prevention programs within those areas with funding.
