Award-Winning Residential Real Estate Broker/Owner Shares Keys to Fast Success

July 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Under Gus Grizzard's watch, ERA Tom Grizzard became the first repeat winner of ERA Real Estate's Gene Francis Memorial Award for the top all-around brokerage in the ERA system.

ERA Tom Grizzard, a 120-agent company in Leesburg, FL, won the prize in 2010 and again in 2011. Not bad for a company in Florida's hard-hit real estate market — and for a broker who got into residential real estate only five years ago.

In the July issue of "Real Estate Broker's Insider," Grizzard talks about agent productivity, his no-whining rule, his favorite app, and more.

To keep productivity high, Grizzard set a goal of taking per-agent productivity from 10 to 13 transactions per year. "I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but making that improvement across 120 agents really adds to the bottom line," he says. In fact, the company is tracking closer to 14 transactions per year right now.
