Top Charting Texas Recording Artist David Martinez Hits California

July 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Top charting artist, David Martinez, who has over 2,000 views of his video for 'Sweet Sister' on Top Blip, is making California his home for the next month.  David has been impressing those in the indie circle and recently has been accepted for airplay on numerous stations including Twirl Radio, Crunch Radio, and KRMW. Charting at #15 with his hit song 'Hey Mary' on the Music World Radio chart and #4 on Final Frontier Radio are two accomplishments which showcase his mass appeal. In order to continue to release fresh, new music, David will be in California from July 10 - August 8 to record material for his highly anticipated new album. In between recording sessions, David will be performing energetic live shows fans have grown to love.

David and his well known producer, Leroy Miller (Scrubs, 10 Things I Hate About You, Driven, Arrested Development, Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen), are busy working on pre-production on the yet to be titled new release.  According to David, "We have some elements of Hendrix, Springsteen, Costello, Alice In Chains/Stained, Marley. I'm excited about the direction we are going."

The Texas native recently entertained the listeners of Indie 104 - Radio LA when he was interviewed on the station, and was the chosen guest on the Artist Connection Podcast where the entire show was dedicated to him and his music. He was also selected to be aired as part of the LadyLake Showcase, a week long special hosted by Hamilton Radio, highlighting talent from the company.  Industry reps were so impressed with his music  that he was asked to be added to new shows for airplay.

Not only is David topping charts and receiving airplay, but he understands the importance of giving back to those in need. He generously participated and donated merchandise for Project Encourage, where LadyLake Music collaborated with Hooah Radio to bring the spirit and positivity of indie music to the troops.

This trip is an exciting time for David and it begins the next step in his already blossoming career. We know that the results of this trip will be phenomenal because hard work plus talent can not be defeated.  California, we only have one thing to say - No, you can't keep him!
