First Biometric System in Ladakh by J&K Post Office Department

They mark their attendance and get to work, while their manager sitting miles away in Jammu knows that his employees are on time today. Well, this scene might have been a possibility in developed US countries. But here we inform you that this is a scene straight out from Leh, Ladakh.

In keeping with India's commitment towards growth through automation systems, Jammu and Kashmir government has taken a significant step and is implementing modern products in various offices. Post Office department of Jammu & Kashmir has been one of the pioneers in this process for accurate automation of HR. Its great to see J&K leading the way for India which is already on the path of becoming a biometric nation.

According to an official statement from the company Incept, which has supplied its biometric systems to this particular case, "Its great to supply our systems to Jammu and Kashmir's Post Office department. More so, because we will now be installing in Ladakh, a region which is developing at a very fast rate. And even more, since we have decided not to make any profit out of this entire deal- this may sound a foolish decision to most business minds but this is our effort towards contributing our cent for J&K's growth."

The installations of the systems will start in the second half of July and its usage shall begin from August.
