Follow on Google News | Crown Decorating Centres Help Next Generation of Scottish TradesmenScotland’s Crown Decorating Centres have joined forces to help support the next generation of Scottish decorators by donating toolboxes for a prestigious awards ceremony.
By: Crown Decorating Centres The ceremony celebrated the first four graduates of the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme achieving their Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) Level 3 certificates. Scot Black, Marc Dunn, Emma McKay, and Euan Allardice, have all completed the four year training programme, which aims to better represent apprentices within the painting and decorating sector. The Crown Decorating Centre’s toolboxes were presented by Nigel Don, SNP MSP and the Chair of the Scottish Parliament’s Cross Party Group for Construction, to the apprentices as rewards for completing their qualifications. Speaking on behalf of the Crown Decorating Centres, David Fish, said: “We were delighted to offer support to the trainees, following the successful completion of their course.” With stores across the length and breadth of Scotland, Crown Decorating Centres are open from 7.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday. They are also open 8am - 12pm Saturdays and from 8am – 2pm on Bank Holidays. There is free parking available for all customers.
