First Class Concepts Watch Murray's Wimbledon ProgressFirst Class Concepts watch on with pleasure as their favourite athlete Andy Murray progresses through Wimbledon 2012.
Murray had an incredibly tough draw at Wimbledon this year but First Class Concepts has been delighted to watch as he has made seemingly light work of all of his challengers. He breezed past Nikolay Davydenko in the first round in straight sets and then faced a tricky match against 6ft 10in Croatian, Ivo Karlovic. Murray said after the match, which he won in four sets, “Winning is all that’s important when you’re playing a guy with his style. It’s so challenging to get into a rhythm.” In beating Karlovic, Murray set up a match against Marcos Baghdatis. Although he ended up winning comfortably in 4 sets he had a slight wobble in the second send and everyone at the office in Glasgow held their breath to see if this match was going to be his last. In a rain-hit fourth round Murray was dominant and disposed of Marin Cilic, another Croatian and the 16th seed, in straight sets. First Class Concepts was disappointed to see that the match was played on Court 1 rather than centre court. Andy now sets up a tough quarter-final match with his friend David Ferrer. Will Andy win? A representative for First Class Concepts said, “It will be a tough match. Ferrer is in great form but has had much longer matches than Murray so we think freshness will come into play. If he gets thought this round, with Nadal now out of the way, we think he has a great chance of heading into the final stages.” Why is Andy so successful. The team at First Class Concepts believe it is a number of factors. “Andy isn’t the most charismatic of sportsmen, he doesn’t have the way with the media that someone like Federer has. However far more importantly he has talent and grit. He is deservedly one of the best players in the world now and one that people fear when they meet him in a tournament. Andy used to have a real problem with his attitude, when he the game turned against him his head would go down and he would lose his temper only making matters worse. In our industry of direct sales we know that this can be the most damaging thing to your day and we’re incredibly pleased to see that Andy has worked hard on this problem and it is now barely visible in his game.” Andy faces Ferrer on Centre Court later on today. Everyone at First Class Concepts wishes him Good Luck! First Class Concepts is a direct sales and marketing company based in Glasgow with offices around the country.
