Anderson Cushing now Farrell Backlund Insurance Agency

The Agency has been a staple in the Middleboro community, operating in the downtown area for over one hundred years.  Through the leadership of Dick Anderson, Anderson Cushing expanded to two offices, with a continuing presence in Middleboro and an office in East Freetown.

In 2008 the agency was acquired by Farrell Backlund Insurance but maintained the Anderson Cushing name.  Russel F. Martorana, President of Farrell Backlund said “We wanted to ensure the continuity of the Anderson Cushing brand until the client base came to recognize the Farrell Backlund name and our unique approach to serving the needs of our clients.  We have received high accolades from the Anderson Cushing clients as they joined the Farrell Backlund family.  After four years we have decided to consolidate the two brands under the Farrell Backlund name.”
