Jana Gradeva Joins BKD SALT Services

June 22, 2012 - PRLog -- DALLAS, TX – Rob Wagner, managing partner of BKD, LLP’s International and State and Local Tax (SALT) services practice, is pleased to announce that Jana Gradeva has joined BKD’s SALT services team as a Managing Consultant in the Dallas office.

Gradeva has more than 7 years of sales and use tax consulting experience, working on multistate state and local tax projects including audit defense, managed audits, managed compliance, reverse audits and tax recovery. She also has experience reviewing and analyzing client data to determine transaction tax compliance, tax savings opportunities and potential audit assessments.

Jana has assisted clients in various industries, including manufacturing, retail, defense contractors, airlines, entertainment and food and beverage. As a part of the BKD SALT team, she will be responsible for the development and implementation of sales tax saving opportunities.

She is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut, with a B.S. degree in finance and international business and a graduate of Pace University, New York City, New York, with an M.B.A. degree in corporate finance. Jana is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT).
