Mobile experts give tips on how companies can get started and how the line between mobile and internet is blurring.
Guests on “Talk with the Experts: Mobile Marketing” were Robb Dillon (Strategic Mobile Engagement, Mozes, Inc.), Kristen Rankin (FVP & Mobile Channel Manager, Suntrust Banks) and Peggy Anne Salz (Analyst, Mobile Groove). They gave companies advice on how compete in the mobile landscape. “The line between mobile and internet is blurring,” said Dillon. Rankin agreed. “It’s the new web…and it will evolve even beyond that to an integrated experience.” “Mobile is a social experience, particularly among millennials, Gen Y and ‘mobile moms’,” said Salz. Added Rankin, “Good user experience is critical--from speed, to start-up time, to the look and feel of the interaction.
